Jimmy Kimmel apparently drew blood with his monologue Tuesday night mocking the value of Donald Trump's social media company.
The late-night talk show host skewered the plunging value of Trump Media & Technology Group, the parent company to his Truth Social platform, during a monologue that warned Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump that "daddy is running out of money."
“If you bought Trump stock two weeks ago ― and shame on you if you did ― you lost half your money,” Kimmel said. “But if you hold on just a little bit longer, you might be able to lose all of it.”

Kimmel joined in with other late-night hosts Monday night in ridiculing the former president for falling asleep during the first day of his hush money trial, calling him "Doze-O the Clown," and Trump responded Wednesday morning with a string of insults.
"Stupid Jimmy Kimmel, who still hasn’t recovered from his horrendous performance and big ratings drop as Host of The Academy Awards, especially when he showed he suffered from TDS, commonly known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, to the entire World by reading on air my TRUTH about how bad a job he was doing that night, right before he stumbled through announcing the biggest award of all, 'Picture of the Year,'" Trump posted on Truth Social.
The ex-president criticized Kimmel's performance on social media as Oscars host while the event was broadcasting, and Kimmel read Trump's post aloud during the live telecast and wondered whether it wasn't past his "jail time," although he later revealed that producers had tried to stop him from reading the message on air.
"It was a CLASSIC CHOKE, one of the biggest ever in show business, and to top it off, he forgot to say the famous and mandatory line, 'AND THE WINNER IS,'" Trump posted. "Instead he stammered around as he opened the envelope. Supposedly his wife, and even management, begged him not to do it, 'DON’T READ HIS TRUTH, JIMMY, PLEASE DON’T DO THIS,' they said. He was made to look like a FOOL, which he is, and at the same time go down in Television History as the WORST HOST EVER OF THE ONCE VAUNTED ACADEMY AWARDS!"
New York judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing Trump's trial, typically does not convene court on Wednesdays to focus on other business, but the former president is due back on Thursday for the third day of jury selection.
