Emma Roberts recently gave a tour of her home, and the crown jewel of the Los Angeles property is her “doll wall” and collection.
After starring in multiple seasons of the horror anthology series American Horror Story, it should come as no surprise that Emma Roberts can get a little… quirky? The 33-year-old Hollywood actress has become a spooky icon for her work on the iconic TV show, also starring in the beloved slasher comedy Scream Queens and the movie Scream 4. Her versatility as a star extends to roles in rom-coms like Holidate to high-octane thrillers in Nerve, and even then, you’ve never seen her so excited as she is around her doll collection.

As part of Architectural Digest’s enlightening ‘Open Door’ series, fans were recently invited to take a tour of Emma’s Los Angeles home, complete with the actress as their knowledgeable guide.
There’s a lot to love about the property, but it’s the collection of dolls in the background that will grab your attention almost right away.
“… Stuff I really love is behind me,” she beams, taking us over to the shelf. “I’m really excited to show you guys. The doll wall.” She moves her desk out of the way so she can show off her collection as best as possible, which covers an entire unit of shelves. “Okay, so these are the dollikins,” she begins. “I’m madly obsessed with them, in love with them.

“She was my first one,” she announces, pointing to a doll before cutely whispering, “and still my favorite. But I do love all of them. And then my most recent addition is Leggy Jill.” She explains she got Jill for her birthday after searching for her for over a year. Her boyfriend surprised her with the doll.
“I took her out of the box, which he did not approve of,” she recounted. “I take my dolls out of the box which people get very up in arms about. But I feel like if you’re gonna collect dolls you may as well enjoy them.

Growing more excited by every second spent showcasing her dolls, Emma continues but stops to place special emphasis on a really fun one: “This is, like, drunk cowgirl Barbie. I heard about her and thought she didn’t really exist and she was a joke, but it turns out she does exist. And she’s just amazing.”
She shows her off up close like the cutest edition of celebrity show and tell you’ve ever seen. Or creepiest, for those with a fear of dolls—and Emma Roberts touches on that, actually.
Reminiscing, she revealed that people would ask when she was younger if she was afraid her dolls would come to life. “I’m like, ‘I hope that every night,'” she gushed. “That they’ll come wake me up. It would be so thrilling.”
Fans don’t seem bothered by Emma Roberts’ dolls either.
One wrote: “This was so unexpected, very enchanting style, it feels so genuine and unpretentious, every room is full of character, every inch of the house really wear’s the uniqueness of her mind and soul.”
