Bishop’s Stortford Swifts A got revenge over Grange United as a 1-0 victory saw them win the North West Essex Sunday League Premiership Cup final on Sunday (April 14).

Jack Stewart got the only goal of the game in the first half as they overcame the side that beat them on penalties in last year’s final and were looking to lift the trophy for the third year in a row.

Michael Gardner was man of the match for Swifts A, who are only in their second season of men’s football, while the silverware was lifted by captain Nick McCrone.
