'Going to happen': Declan Rice has just sent warning to Wolves ahead of this weekend's match

Arsenal player Declan Rice has now fired a warning to Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the two sides meeting on Saturday night.

Mikel Arteta’s side will still be reeling this morning, having now suffered two defeats in four days that have called their whole season into question.

Arsenal have been brilliant this campaign, there’s no two ways about it.

However, they could still end up with nothing to show for it, unless they can now catch Manchester City in the Premier League title race.

Of course, Gary O’Neil’s impressive Wolves side will be hoping to spoil those plans too in the late kick off on Saturday.

Despite making excellent progress under O’Neil this season, Wolves’ campaign does seem to be meandering a little right now.

Injuries to key players like Pedro Neto and Hwang Hee-Chan have definitely been a factor, but Wolves are now winless in five games.

O’Neil has done a remarkable job to avoid any kind of relegation fight this campaign, especially given the players lost in the summer, but he won’t settle for the season’s ambition ending there.

Declan Rice says Arsenal will show a ‘big reaction’ when they travel to Wolves on Saturday

All that being said, Declan Rice has just sent a warning to Wolves in the aftermath of Arsenal’s defeat to Bayern Munich last night.

Speaking in an interview immediately after the game, Rice first shared his thoughts on the mounting pressure for Arsenal to start winning trophies.

He said: “What I take from it is that it’s a learning experience, we’re a young group.

“There’s a lot of demand and pressure on us now to deliver and rightly so because we’re good at what we do.

“This is Arsenal Football Club, one of the biggest clubs in the world, and we need to stand tall and be counted for.

“And, that now goes back to Saturday. We’ve got Wolves away, and that’s where our big reaction is going to happen.”

Of course, Arsenal definitely shouldn’t be taking Wolves lightly, especially given the form the likes of Matheus Cunha are now showing once again.

Wolves have been strong on the whole at Molineux this season, and Arsenal will face another tough test, adding to the mental and physical fatigue they’ll already be experiencing.

That being said, Ally McCoist simply couldn’t believe something Leandro Trossard did towards the end of last night’s game.
