Harry Kane has just made big claim about Tottenham striker Heung-min Son

Harry Kane has just made a very interesting claim about Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-min Son.

The England skipper just enjoyed a brilliant victory against Arsenal in the Champions League last night, and we’re sure that would’ve brought a lot of joy to Tottenham supporters.

Son would’ve been pleased too for his former strike partner, with whom he shares the record for being the most prolific duo in the history of the Premier League.

Kane has now made a claim about Tottenham star Son that puts the South Korean above some of the greatest strikers the world has ever seen.

Harry Kane makes a big claim about Tottenham’s Heung-min Son

Tottenham signed Heung-min Son from Bayer Leverkusen all the way back in 2015.

The South Korean actually struggled in his debut season. He wasn’t enjoying his football at all, so much so that he asked Mauricio Pochettino to let him leave the club.

However, the Argentine convinced Son to stay, and he hasn’t looked back since. Son is one of the greatest players to ever play for Tottenham.

He has played over 400 games for the club and has directly been involved in 243 goals, which is a very good return for someone who has mostly played out wide.

Nobody knows how good Son is better than Harry Kane.

Most of Son’s 402 games at Spurs have been alongside the England captain, and the two players caused all sorts of problems for the opposition when they played together.

Now, Kane has made a claim about Son that might surprise you.

The England captain was asked by TV2Sport in Norway to pick his ultimate striker based on different categories.

When he was asked to name the player who made the best ‘runs in behind’, Kane, who could’ve picked anyone from any era, chose his old pal, Son.

That is a huge compliment to the South Korean.

What Heung-min Son said recently about Harry Kane leaving Tottenham

Harry Kane leaving Tottenham was a sad moment for every Spurs fan.

The Englishman was their best player for about a decade. He was unbelievable for them and has given them countless memories that will last a lifetime.

Heung-min Son has recently admitted that he was very sad when Kane decided to leave the club, but he claimed that he was really happy to see his old friend thriving at Bayern.

“We had something different I would say. We’d been together for nearly 10 years. We knew where we were and we demanded a lot from each other,” Son said.

“It was a huge honour to play with him because he’s one of the best in the world. Look, he left which was really sad for me, but it was a good move for him and he does well scoring now for Bayern.”
