The back and forth continutes for Michigan State defensive lineman Simeon Barrow Jr., who has re-entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.

Barrow’s intent to enter the portal was revealed by former Spartans’ interim head coach Harlon Barnett in October of last year. Only to withdraw from the transfer portal just three days later and decide to stay in East Lansing. But ahead of Michigan State’s spring game this Saturday, Barrow has had a chance of heart, entering the transfer portal once again during 2024’s spring window.

He’s spent all four seasons of his college career with the Spartans, redshirting as a freshman before becoming a three-year letter winner for Michigan State. Making 34 game appearances with 30 starts where he recorded 110 career tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, and 10.5 sacks, two blocked field goals, one pass break-up, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

Barrow played high school football Grovetown (GA) where he was a three-star recruit. Ranked the No. 783 overall prospect in the nation and the No. 59 EDGE from the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
