Jason Kelce has no filter when it comes to disclosing his secrets, and on his New Heights podcast this week, he revealed he doesn’t wear underwear. Well, not always.
Travis Kelce and his older brother Jason Kelce entertain NFL fans (and Swifties) on their weekly shenanigans, and the former Philadelphia Eagles star never holds back. From losing his Super Bowl ring, to not wearing any underwear, there’s never a boring day in the eldest Kelce brother household.
Jason Kelce admits he ‘never wears underwear’
“As I’ve said on the show, I do not wear underwear,” the 36-year-old said in this week’s New Heights episode, whilst brother Trav, who is dating Taylor Swift, was reading out an ad for sponsor, Tommy John. “I don’t wear underwear based on comfort.
“The reason I don’t wear underwear is because I find it unnecessary and problematic to the freedom that my boys like to enjoy,” he joked as the Kansas City Chiefs star burst into laughter. “I don’t think that’s going to change,” the elder brother continued.
However, thankfully he doesn’t go commando 24/7. As Trav questioned if there were any scenarios in which his bro does wear underwear, he responded: “Any time I’m working out. If I’m going something physical, my thighs chafe.”
He then went on to explain that he wears “compression shorts” when he’s running, or doing any other physical activity.
So sports fans can put their mind at ease knowing Jason was wearing ‘compression shorts’ while playing in front of millions on the football field.
The physical activity isn’t stopping for the star – despite retirement
Last month, the former Super Bowl champion announced his retirement from the NFL in a tearjerking statement. But, fear not it doesn’t look like he’ll be throwing all his underwear away just yet.
Recently, he shocked fans with a surprise performance at Wrestlemania, and we’re hoping he was wearing his ‘compression shorts’ then.
The star is thriving after retirement, having just been nominated for a Sports Emmy for his Amazon Prime documentary.
Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger also has a ‘hunch’ that we may be seeing him on the big screen sometime soon.
We guess we’ll have to wait and see.
