A chartered accountant from Essex died after sustaining multiple traumatic injuries following a fall at Hunstanton earlier this month, a coroner’s court has heard.
An inquest opened into the death of Gary White, 64, at Norfolk Coroner’s Court this morning, which was told that he died on Wednesday, April 3.
Mr White’s medical cause of death was given as multiple traumatic injuries due to a fall.
Senior coroner for Norfolk Jacqueline Lake adjourned the hearing for a full inquest to take place on September 27.
On the day of Mr White’s death, emergency services were called to Hunstanton beach to reports that a body had been found.
Norfolk Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene, with the death being treated as unexplained but it was not believed to be suspicious.
