Police in Wisbech say “no offences were revealed” after members of the public were concerned about the behaviour of a man in the town on Thursday.
Officers say they received two reports concerning a man in the area of the Oasis Community Centre and Horsefair Shopping Centre.
They are also aware of discussions on social media saying he has been approaching girls, boys and women, sometimes asking for photographs.
A spokesman said: “Officers from our Neighbourhood Policing Team patrolled the area and spoke with a 15-year-old boy matching the description in the reports.
”Appropriate enquiries and checks were made, and no offences were revealed. However, we would encourage people to continue to report concerns or information to us online at www.cambs.police.uk/report or by calling 101.
