The Hollywood star gushed, “It was my birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5 a.m. on my stoop in New York,” Kidman told PEOPLE in 2019. “That is when I went,’This is the man I hope I get to marry.'” That was the moment she felt that he was the man for her and further explained.
“I believed by that point he was the love of my life,” theBig Little Lies star said. “Maybe that’s because I am deeply romantic, or I’m an actress, or I have strong faith as well, but I just believed, ‘Oh, okay, here he is.'”
Recently, in an interview with Evan Paul from Taste of Country Nights, Keith wouldn’t answer what he gives his movie star wife for Valentine’s Day to keep the romance alive. The “Better Half” singer has been known to keep his romantic life private, and according to Taste of Country Night’s host, that might be why their relationship has lasted so long.
The Aussie natives were married in 2006 and have been happily married for 18 years, which is like a millennium in Hollywood years. Kidman seems to love her family life raising kids with the country star.
In an interview with PEOPLE, she recalls, “I remember talking to somebody once and they were like, ‘What do you do?’ I’m like, ‘Well, primarily I have my family, I raise my kids, and I work,'” The couple make stardom and marriage seem easy and we love watching their journey.
