Three players Arsenal could sign after Kroenke sanctions nine-figure transfer war chest

Arsenal are set to be very active in the summer transfer window after Josh Kroenke has sanctioned a huge budget for Mikel Arteta to spend.

The Gunners were backed heavily by the Kroenkes last summer, and we have improved. Arsenal reached the quarter-final of the Champions League and look like we’ll push as hard as we can for the Premier League title.

Arteta has been doing an amazing job as our manager, and if he continues to be backed, we’re convinced Arsenal will return to where we belong – at the very top.

Now, a report has revealed how much money the Kroenkes have decided to hand to Arteta for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Arsenal owners sanction huge summer transfer budget to Mikel Arteta

As much criticism as Arsenal owners Stan and Josh Kroenke get for some of their decisions, it has to be said that they have invested well over the last few years.

Especially last summer, Mikel Arteta was heavily backed. He was given the funds required to sign Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber, while David Raya was also brought in on loan.

The four players above cost in excess of £200 million, which is massive, but the Kroenkes are not done just yet.

The Guardian have revealed that Josh Kroenke is expected to sanction a similar budget on transfers this summer, which means Arteta will have over £200 million to spend on new signings.

Arsenal could add some serious quality with that amount of money.

Nico Williams

Let’s start with the cheapest name on our list – Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams.

The hugely talented 21-year-old is one of the brightest young wingers in La Liga. He possesses blistering pace and his numbers look really good too – six goals and 14 assists in all competitions this season.

Williams is capable of playing on either wing and has been linked with a move to Arsenal. He can be signed by triggering his release clause, which is set at a very affordable £43 million.

Martin Zubimendi

Martin Zubimendi has been on Arsenal’s radar for over a year now.

The Spaniard is highly appreciated by Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal staff, and he is viewed as our number-one midfield target in the upcoming transfer window.

Zubimendi can be signed for £53 million, and Arsenal have been described as ‘great favourites‘ to lure him away from Real Sociedad before the start of next season.

Alexander Isak

Alexander Isak is one of Arsenal’s primary targets for this summer’s transfer window.

The Swede has been having a fine season at Newcastle United, scoring 21 goals in all competitions. His style of play has drawn comparisons to Thierry Henry, and we really think he would be a fine option for Arsenal.

Isak will cost a fortune this summer, with reports claiming Arsenal will have to splash £100 million to bring him to the Emirates Stadium. That is a huge fee, but in this market, we think he’s worth it.
