Bruce Willis’ family pays sweet tribute to actor at 30th anniversary of Pulp Fiction amid ongoing illness

Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Hemming Willis and daughter Tallulah Willis attended the 30 anniversary of Pulp Fiction in honour of the actor.

Willis starred as Butch Coolidge in the 1994 cult classic shortly after his career kicked off for his role in Die Hard.

The 69-year-old has been battling Aphasia since 2022 and was later diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in February 2023.

Due to his illness, Willis was unable to attend the anniversary event of his own movie but had his family front and centre to represent him.

His daughter walked the red carpet alongside her stepmother at the opening night of the 2024 TCM Classic Film Festival.

The event included the special screening of Pulp Fiction, with Willis’ co-stars John Travolta, Uma Thurman, Harvey Keitel and Samuel L. Jackson all in attendance.

30-year-old Tallulah paid homage to her father by wearing a black baseball cap with “Bruce” embroidered on it in white letters.

She paired the accessory with ripped jeans, a yellow graphic t-shirt and a black blazer, whilst Willis’ wife wore a black Dior suit with a white satin blouse and black pumps.

Both Willis’ daughter and wife advertised their attendance on their Instagram page, with the youngest child penning: “Giving you freshly squeezed ‘Bruce Willis in the 90s going to a premiere’ for the 30th-anniversary screening of Pulp Fiction last night.

“Thank you @tcm and my hot date @emmahemingwillis P.S. We feel your love for him and it’s beautiful.”

In a separate post, his wife noted: “We came out to see Pulp Fiction for its 30 year anniversary and represent.

“Sweetest date night with my family @buuski and friends @theallisonburnscooper and @justinacee.”

During a panel discussion with the cast, host Ben Mankiewicz took a moment to celebrate Willis and said: “Bruce is great in this.

“Here in the audience tonight is Bruce's wife, Emma, and one of his daughters, Tallulah Belle Willis,” with the duo standing up as the audience gave them a big round of applause.

Like her father, Tallulah recently spoke about her own struggles and opened up about her autism diagnosis.

She posted a throwback video of her as a child being held by her dad during a red-carpet interview and joked in the caption: “Tell me you're autistic without telling me you're autistic.

When a follower praised her for sharing the clip, she revealed that she was diagnosed as an adult: “Actually this is the first time I’ve ever publicly shared my diagnosis. Found out this summer and it’s changed my life.”
