Russia complaints about drone attacks in several regions: Explosions and fires reported

Belgorod, Kursk, and Bryansk regions of Russia were attacked by drones. A fire broke out at the crash site of a drone near the city of Stary Oskol, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It is noted that three unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region by air defense forces.

Russian sources report that explosions were heard near the city of Stary Oskol, and a bright flash was visible in the sky.

Eyewitnesses filmed the fire outside the city.

In some areas of the city, there was a partial loss of light and electricity. Russian military units are located around the city.

The Governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported an attack by UAVs on the village of Istobnoye in the Gubkinsky city district.

"As a result of the non-explosive fall, there were no casualties, but a summer veranda of a private residential building was damaged. Emergency services are working at the scene," he said.

Drones also attacked the Bryansk region. Governor Alexander Bogomaz reported that five drones were destroyed over the Vygonsky district. As a result of the fall of the downed drone, a fire broke out at an energy infrastructure facility.

Bogomaz also reported the destruction of an aeroplane-type drone over the territory of the Suzemsky district of the Bryansk region. There were no casualties or destruction.

Additionally, air defense forces over the Kursk region destroyed four drones. This was reported by the governor of the region, Roman Starovoit.

Drone attacks on the Russian Federation

Recently, there have been frequent reports of various explosions, fires, and increasingly frequent statements by local authorities about drone attacks in various regions of the Russian Federation. This situation is observed in various areas of the aggressor country, but most often in the border regions with Ukraine.

For example, on the night of April 19, a series of explosions were heard in the city of Belgorod and its surroundings. There were reports of drones and missiles being shot down, and in the city, there was a rain of debris due to the work of air defense forces.

On April 8, drones attacked the Bryansk chemical plant, which produces explosives.

On April 11, drones attacked the Mikhailovsky mining and processing plant in the Kursk region.
