In pictures and video: Flash mob in Cambridge raises awareness and money for Parkinson’s UK

A flash mob helped to raise awareness of Parkinson’s disease and money to support a charity’s Cambridge group.

Around 80 dancers took part in the flash mobs at the Grand Arcade, Fitroy Street and outside the Guildhall in Cambridge on Sunday, 14 April, which was organised by Stephanie Baudino.

The assembled dancers take part in Stephanie and Orsolya Ihasz’s fitness classes in and around Cambridge.

Stephanie’s father has Parkinson’s and she is a supporter of the Cambridge branch of Parkinson’s UK.

The main aim of the event was to raise awareness of the neuro-degenerative disease which is increasingly discovered in people of all ages. Supporters also collected almost £1,000 in donations for the Cambridge group.
