Report: Man Utd player who was labelled an 'absolute disgrace' now has two options for summer exit

Manchester United are expected to oversee a squad overhaul this summer, now one possible departure is reported to have two options.

For Erik ten Hag, this summer – if he remains in charge – will be the deciding on in his Manchester United career.

It’s important that the club get it right and Ineos, along with new technical director Jason Wilcox, make the correct calls.

Most of these calls, will be whether or not to sell certain players who don’t fit the bill anymore at the club.

There are a couple of players in this situation, with a few even set to leave the club for free this summer.

But now reports have suggested that United could have no problem parting with one player, as he currently has two options this summer if he departs.

Casemiro should have options should he be headed for Manchester United exit

According to a report from the Brazilian outlet UOL, Casemiro will have options should United decide it’s time to part ways this summer.

The report for a start suggests that Serie A could actually be an option, as “Juventus has already expressed interest”.

This would be an excellent move for the Brazil legend who could continue to play at a high European level with this move.

But for United, it’s another move which might be favoured.

The report explains, “Saudi Arabia will be waiting with open arms,” before adding that should be be keen, Casemiro would become “one of the main targets.”

This option would probably be favoured by Ineos considering it’d mean a larger cash influx.

Selling Casemiro could be the move of the summer

Casemiro has gone from hero to zero so fast at Old Trafford, with his first year performances now looking a million miles away.

This is something Jamie Redknapp agreed with as he questioned the sharp decline.

After his latest poor outing against Bournemouth, former United player Ben Foster, has labelled the £70m player as an ‘absolute disgrace’.

For practically this entire season he’s looked off the pace and has been a non-factor in the midfield for United off the ball or on, which is a sign he’s regressing rapidly as a player.

His lack of mobility isn’t just an annoyance but it’s contribution has helped create the biggest problem with Ten Hag’s team right now.

This issue being the midfield to defence gaps, which could be solved with a more mobile, all-action midfielder to partner Kobbie Mainoo.

So because of this, selling him seems like a no-brainer. Lets see what United do.
