Polish farmers will partially restore truck passage at one of the blocked checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. This concerns the crossing point Rava-Ruska - Hrebenne, reports the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on Telegram.

Polish protesters plan to allow trucks to enter Poland, except those carrying goods classified under groups 1-24 of the UKT ZED (agricultural products).

Truck movement is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 21.

Border blockade

Since the end of last year, trucks have been blocked from crossing the border with Ukraine in Poland. While the situation was temporarily stabilized in January, Polish farmers resumed protests and the border blockade in February.

Recently, Ukraine, Poland, and the EU held negotiations regarding the grain issue. Following the meeting, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that Kyiv has five steps aimed at addressing the problem.

Today, on April 20, it became known that Polish farmers have unblocked two border checkpoints with Ukraine.
