Generally there’s not a lot of intrigue heading into the final spring practice for the Iowa football team. But, with a new offensive coordinator and a few new faces on both sides of the ball, plus the transfer portal being open, there’s more intrigue than normal for Kirk Ferentz and the Iowa football program.

On a cold and windy day in Iowa City, Ferentz and his squad wrapped up spring practice and we were able to speak with the Hawkeye head coach about what he thought his team accomplished in the 15 practices that are allowed by the NCAA. He also potentially gave us a hint as to what the future might hold for his roster with portal additions and subtractions. Ferentz also talks about what he saw from the development of the offense and his quarterbacks.
