Ukrainian forces repelled 32 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction, held their positions, and repulsed assaults by Russian forces in the Kherson direction. Aviation struck at 8 enemy personnel concentration areas, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian army attacks
During the past day, there were 115 combat clashes. Overall, the enemy launched 15 missiles and 63 aerial strikes, as well as 109 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements.
Aerial strikes targeted:
- Kozacha Lopan, Synkivka, Slobozhanske, Neskuchne, and Peremoha in the Kharkiv region;
- Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region;
- Novosadove, Yampolivka, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandropil, Novooleksandrivka, Soloviove, Novobakhmutivka, Berdychi, New York, Krasnohorivka, Ocheretyne, Vodiane, Shakhtarske, Novomykhailivka, Urozhayne, Staromaiorske, Velyka Novosilka, Spirne, Stupochky, Ivanivske, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region;
- Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region;
- Novoberislav, Lvove, and Krynyky in the Kherson region.
Additionally, over 120 populated areas in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.
Frontline situation
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the redeployment of our troops to critical directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border.
In the Kupiansk direction, with the support of aviation, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders near the settlement of Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region twice.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders near the settlement of Terni in the Donetsk region ten times.
In the Bakhmut direction, our troops repelled 28 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region; and Verkhniokamianske, Spirne, Klishchiivka, Ivanivske, and Novyi in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 32 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Semenivka, Novokalynove, Ocheretyne, Berdychi, Umanske, Yasnobrodivka, Nevelske, and Oleksandropil in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continued to restrain the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vodiane, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, with air support, attempted 25 times to break through the defense of our troops.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with air support, attacked the positions of our defenders in the area of Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region four times.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy is not giving up on its intention to drive our units out of the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the past day, the occupiers made three unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops.
At the same time, our soldiers continue active operations to inflict losses on the occupation forces in personnel and equipment, wearing down the enemy along the entire front line.
Enemy losses
During the past day, the Defense Forces aviation conducted strikes on 8 areas of enemy personnel concentration.
Missile troops units inflicted strikes on 1 command post, 2 areas of personnel concentration, 1 ammunition depot, 1 air defense system, and 1 area of enemy weapons and military equipment concentration.
The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 458,580 military personnel.
