Arsenal got back to winning ways this weekend but some fans already have one eye on the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are expected to go and add to their squad again and a number of players are already being linked with the club.
Strikers, such as Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres, are among the names being thrown around.
However, a raid on Manchester City could once again be on Mikel Arteta’s agenda.
Arsenal looking at signing Manchester City midfielder
As we know, Arsenal have looked to City more than once in the past as they rebuild.
Indeed, they poached Mikel Arteta from the Manchester giants and have since signed a few players as well.
Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko set Arsenal back the best part of £80m and both have played a key role in helping the Gunners back into the title picture.
And according to reports, Arsenal are now looking at another seasoned City star as they look to add more quality to the ranks.
Arsenal back in the mix for Bernardo Silva
According to the report from the Daily Star, the Gunners are among a cluster of clubs keeping an eye on City midfielder, Bernardo Silva.
The Portuguese star has been a mainstay of the Pep Guardiola and has been linked with a move away from The Etihad on more than one occasion.
It’s claimed that this summer sees a £50m release-clause kick in and that Arsenal, along with Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona and Bayern Munich, are all monitoring the situation.
As it stands, it’s claimed that Real Madrid are at the front of the queue when it comes to the midfielder.
City paid north of £60m to sign Silva initially but after more than five years of service, may see a £50m return too good to say no to.
Silva, meanwhile, is believed to favour a move to Spain if he does exit.
However, given recent history, a switch to Arsenal with some of his former teammates cannot be ruled out either.
