Russian forces launched ballistic missiles at the Odesa region during the day, targeting port infrastructure. There is a casualty, according to the Southern Defense Forces.

"The enemy continues targeted missile strikes. Around noon, they struck the Odesa region with ballistic missiles. At the moment, we have information about one casualty. The information is being updated," the report said.

According to the military, the occupiers once again targeted a transport logistics object near the port infrastructure.

"The explosion wave and missile fragments damaged private houses. In one of them, the ceiling collapsed. There was a fire in the private yard," said the Defense Forces.

Explosions in Odesa

There was an explosion in Odesa recently. There were reports of a ballistic weapon threat. The Southern Defense Forces specified that the threat came from the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Meanwhile, the Air Force said that Russian occupiers would intensify shelling of Ukraine. Some missiles are still enough for the attacks, while others are used shortly after being produced.

Commenting on the recent destruction of a Russian Tu-22, the head of Defense Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said that the Russian forces still had such aircraft, but successful actions by the Odesa Defense Forces would make it slightly easier. Kh-22 missiles launched by the Tu-22M3 caused the most damage to the city.
