With the winds of an 11-win season and Cotton Bowl victory over Ohio State at their back, Missouri is looking to make a major splash in the 2025 recruiting class. Elite quarterback Matt Zollers was the first domino on that list, giving Missouri its first commitment earlier this month.

Over the weekend, three-star defensive lineman Jason Dowell added his name to the list. And they could be getting even more good news soon:

4-star LB Dante McClellan

Latest buzz: In mid-February, Dante McClellan announced a top eight of Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Tennessee and West Virginia.A few short days later, Eli Drinkwitz and Co. extended an offer on February 17, and McClellan took an unofficial visit to Columbia in March.

Michigan State, Kentucky and Minnesota looked to be in prime position before that trip, but since then, the buzz has been around the Tigers. And on Monday, On3’s Steve Wiltfong logged an expert pick in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) for Missouri to land the four-star out of Canton (Ohio) McKinley.

4-star WR Corey Simms

Latest buzz: St. Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College four-star wide receiver Corey Simms recently narrowed his list of more than 30 offers down to a 12 schools.

Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee and USC made the cut, but there’s one team trending in the On3 Recruiting Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) as it stands today. And that’s the in-state Tigers.

3-star DL Joshua Lewis

Latest buzz: Missouri already has one commitment along the defensive line, and Geismar (La.) Dutchtown three-star Joshua Lewis could be the next. Tulane, Georgia Tech, Cal and a handful of other schools are in the mix. But with a commitment coming Monday, the Tigers lead in the On3 RPM after a pick from national recruiting director Steve Wiltfong.

3-star CB Zadian Gentry

Latest buzz: McKinney (Texas) three-star cornerback Zadian Gentryholds offers from 31 programs. He will be focusing on five of them going forward. Gentry announced Baylor, Missouri, Oklahoma State, SMU and Wisconsin as his top schools earlier this month, and soon after a prediction went in the Tigers’ favor.
