Juventus interested in signing ‘unbelievable’ Arsenal star, he could leave this summer

Juventus are reportedly signing in signing one of Arsenal’s star players, with the north London side open to a sale this summer.

The upcoming transfer window is setting up to be one of the most important for Mikel Arteta’s side in some time, with a number of sales expected to be made as Arsenal ready themselves to upgrade the squad yet again.

The likes of Eddie Nketiah and Reiss Nelson have been linked with moves away whilst a number of academy players such as Mika Biereth are also reportedly set to depart, with Arsenal expected to recoup quite a bit of money in the summer.

Juventus plotting swoop to sign Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus

According to Tutto Juve, Italian giants Juventus are interested in signing Gabriel Jesus, who as per the report is a player Arsenal are willing to let go this summer, even on loan if a permanent deal can be arranged with an interested party.

Lauded by Arteta as an ‘unbelievable’ player, Jesus has endured a tough year mostly impacted by last season’s knee injury, with the attacker managing just four Premier League goals and seeing his influence in the squad begin to wane

And with Arsenal set to sign a world-class striker in the summer, offloading Jesus could be a great move for the north London side, especially if Juventus are willing to spend a good fee to sign the Brazilian international.

Indeed, Arsenal are clearly ready to move on from Jesus this summer, and if a move to Juventus can be arranged, the north London side are in an excellent position to spend big on a new centre-forward who can replace the 27-year-old.

Selling Gabriel Jesus would be a masterstroke by Arsenal

As mentioned, a number of big-name players are set to leave Arsenal this summer, and if the Gunners can find a way to offload Jesus, it would be nothing short of a masterstroke from the club’s transfer board.

The former Manchester City star looks like a shadow of his former self this season, and Arsenal will benefit massively from selling Jesus if a club like Juventus is willing to spend big to sign the Brazilian striker.

Alternatively, a loan deal could also work given how much Jesus earns, with the striker one of Arsenal’s biggest earners and someone who could fund a new signing simply by being taken off the Gunners’ payroll this summer.
