Kherson shelling

The liberation of Kherson and the right-bank part of the Kherson region by Ukrainian forces in the autumn of 2022 did not guarantee safety for the civilian population. Russian occupiers continue to shell these territories, causing damage to residential areas, civilian infrastructure, and resulting in human casualties.

Here are just a few examples of such crimes:

End of February 2024: A cargo ship was hit by Russian military shelling in Kherson. Also, a farm and an elevator were damaged.

Beginning of January 2024: Russian forces shelled the Dnipro district of Kherson. As a result of the attack, a warehouse with humanitarian aid caught fire, and four people were injured.

December 26, 2023: Occupiers shelled the railway station in Kherson. A 29-year-old police officer from Kirovohrad Oblast was killed. Additionally, two police officers from Kherson Oblast and two civilians were injured.
