A person has suffered burns to their head after a house fire.
Firefighters were called to a property in Pier Avenue, Herne Bay after reports of a blaze at around 12.30pm yesterday.
Two fire engines attended the scene, and crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using a hose reel jet.
One person was handed into the care of paramedics after suffering “minor burns to their head”.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
