Third And Final Arrest Made In St. Petersburg Saturday Homicide

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - St. Petersburg Police detectives arrested the third suspect, Randy Reynolds, 16, in Saturday's homicide, and he is charged with 1st-degree Felony Murder and Armed Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.

According to investigators, on Saturday, April 20th, at 1:18 p.m., three men approached Marcus Rivers, 21, in his vehicle at the intersection of 80th Avenue Northeast and Riverside Drive Northeast.

Shots were fired, leaving Rivers dead and 17-year-old Tyvion Royal injured. He remains in critical but stable condition this morning, police say.

A suspect, Samarion Douglas, 16, was later arrested on Saturday.

Detectives believe the suspects and the victim were known to each other and that the incident was drug-related.
