Ukraine is sharing with allies participating in the Drone Coalition the results of testing their drones on the battlefield, stated Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernohorenko.

During the first annual forum on Military innovations in modern warfare, the official mentioned that Ukraine is fostering close cooperation between the military, developers, enterprises, and researchers because the main goal for our country is to gain an advantage in the field of technology.

"Within the Drone Coalition, we have agreements with partners for testing their products on the battlefield and receiving feedback. Participation in the Coalition is not only direct assistance to the Ukrainian army but also a contribution to the overall development of the defense industry worldwide," emphasized the deputy minister.

In turn, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Vadym Sukharevskyi, who also participated in the forum, noted that robotic systems and drones are being introduced at the level of individual battalions. This allows for the preservation of soldiers' lives.

Drone Coalition

It is worth noting that back in December of last year, it became known about the formation of the Drone Coalition, within which our country will be provided with drones to assist in defense against Russian aggression. The coalition is led by Britain and Latvia.

In January of this year, the Latvian Minister of Defense, Andris Sprūds, spoke about the participation of nearly 20 countries in the Drone Coalition.

Moreover, last week, the Prime Minister of Latvia, Krišjānis Kariņš, announced the first deliveries of drones to Ukraine within the framework of the Coalition.
