'My prediction': Yves Bissouma now shares whether he thinks Man City will win the Premier League this season

Yves Bissouma was quizzed about which team he thinks will win the Premier League this season.

It is always interesting to see players like the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder make such predictions.

Fans and pundits alike make predictions about title races based on their views on the team’s performances during a particular campaign.

Or even based on a specific spell where one team is outperforming the rest.

However, players like Yves Bissouma have had the experience of playing against Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Bissouma started for Spurs when his side secured a 3-3 draw against City at the Etihad Stadium in December.

But then again, the 27-year-old also witnessed his Spurs side lose 1-0 to the treble-winners in the FA Cup clash between both sides at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Against Liverpool, Yves Bissouma was in the starting lineup in their 2-1 win against them in September.

However, perhaps the former Brighton technician might be aware that the Lilywhites were perhaps fortunate to win the game, considering the controversial nature of Son Heung-min’s goal and Curtis Jones’ red card.

Even a nine-man Liverpool team managed to defend resolutely against Spurs and only conceded a late winner, thanks to an own goal from Joel Matip.

In the North London Derby, Bissouma was a part of the Tottenham side that drew 2-2 to Arsenal.

Some would argue the visitors outplayed the hosts.

Having played all of the title contenders, Yves Bissouma has backed Manchester City to win the Premier League once again this campaign.

“City”, he told Sky Sports.

“That’s what I think, yeah.”

“They’ve got experience, they know how to manage, how to play especially in the last games, they have a big experience about that, my prediction, them.”

Yves Bissouma might not have many disagree with his reasons

In our view, not many would disagree with Yves Bissouma about Manchester City being red-hot favourites to win the league.

Especially considering Bissouma laid out convincing reasons why City should be betted on.

Pep Guardiola’s men come alive during the final part of the season, as the Malian international stated and have the experience of going all the way in the past.

Whether the title race offers more twists and turns will be interesting to see but as things stand, Bissouma’s pick for the title makes the most sense.
