Officials and VAR confirmed as Celtic take on Dundee in the Scottish Premiership

Celtic return to Scottish Premiership action this Sunday as Dundee form the first of their five post-split fixtures under Brendan Rodgers.

The Bhoys hold a three-point advantage at the summit; however, Rangers could draw level on points if they can navigate past St Mirren in their clash earlier in the day.

Last time out, Celtic progressed to the Scottish Cup final in dramatic fashion following a penalty shootout victory over Aberdeen at Hampden, ending 3-3 in open play.

Despite the joy of booking their return to the national stadium, Rodgers and company will be conscious of their need to solidify their backline after some shaky moments against a spirited Dons outfit.

Nevertheless, Celtic are now on a run of just one loss in 18 matches, providing some tangible momentum ahead of facing Tony Docherty’s men.

Dundee arrive into this one with one defeat six, and European football is a realistic target at Dens Park if they can pip St Mirren to fifth place in the table.

There is plenty at stake on Tayside as we gear up for a crucial day in the title race, with build-up and all the action being shown live on Sky Sports Football. Kick-off commences at 3 p.m.
