This Morning viewers tuning in on Tuesday's show were in for a surprise over a shock interview first thing.

During the latest instalment, a guest called Matt, who claims he has Britain's biggest penis, appeared on the daytime show for an interview as he spoke to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard.

Introducing Matt, host Cat, 47, said: "Matt has Britain's biggest penis, measuring over 12 inches when erect, which is more than double the average size" to which Ben, 49, added: "Far from being a gift though, Matt's large penis comes with some equally large challenges."

During the interview, Matt spoke about the realities of his manhood, saying: "Is it the biggest problem in the world right now? Of course it's not, but it's just something that affects you in a way people don't think about." Matt added that he plans to release a book about his "gift or curse", considering which way people look at it, next year after he previously appeared on a documentary.

Matt, who admitted he is a shy person, added: "I don't see why it's any different talking about this to talking about breasts or any other bodily part that needs to be discussed, it's just a medical issue, it's not sexualised, it's just a fact of life."

However, viewers all said the same thing over the interview as they complained it was too early in the morning for the interview with many put off their breakfast too. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: "I’m eating my breakfast! #ThisMorning", another wrote: "This chat is putting me off my brekkie, who wants to think about that this (or any) time of day? #ThisMorning" while another added: "#ThisMorning Not what I expected to see over my morning coffee."

Elsewhere, a different show watcher put: "What a subject this time of day #thismorning", a different account pointed out: "It's 10 past 10 on a Tuesday morning!" while another wrote: "So you’re putting your feet up after dropping the kids to school, you’ve got a cuppa in your hand, you switch on the telly and what’s the first thing you see? #ThisMorning." A different fan put: "What a thing to talk about this time of day dear lord #thismorning", another said: "He’s got what?! Er, it’s 10.00 am!! #ThisMorning."
