Declan Rice's girlfriend supported by Love Island star as she deletes all of her pictures amid cruel trolling

Love Island star Liberty Poole has joined the hundreds of women showing their support for Declan Rice's girlfriend amid a barrage of online abuse.

Lauren Fryer, who shares a young child with Arsenal footballer Rice, has wiped her Instagram account over recent days, after being subjected to a slew of vile insults regarding her appearance from nasty trolls.

The abuse began over on Twitter (X) last year, when an anonymous account made a series of comments about Fryer's looks and implied England international Rice "could do better" than his childhood sweetheart and the mother of his one-year-old son, Jude. More recently, another troll suggested Rice had "low standards" in his personal life.

Fryer has since wiped her entire Instagram account, with no grid posts currently showing on the WAG's page. The mum-of-one, who has over 64,000 followers on the social media site, has kept her profile public and her profile picture remains - an image of herself and baby Jude watching a football match in the stands.

Following Fryer's change to her Instagram page, many have taken to their own accounts to show some love for the young mum. "I just want to give her a big hug and tell her that this is absolutely nothing to do with her and everything to do with the people commenting," Alex Light wrote on Instagram as she captioned a video of herself explaining the situation regarding Fryer.

Sharing Light's original post to her Instagram Stories, former Love Island star Liberty Poole fumed: "I think she's beautiful this is crazy. What happened to celebrating different body types and embracing how we are all individually made. beauty standards these days are unrealistic and everyone's gone mad because of social media. I'm keep preaching about it till I die time for change this can't continue."

Rice and Fryer, both 25, have been together for around eight years and welcomed their first child into the world in 2022. Sports star Rice subtly confirmed the arrival of his son Jude as he represented West Ham on the pitch against Brighton and Hove Albion in August that year.

The footballer, who has since moved teams to Arsenal, debuted a new tattoo on his arm that detailed the name and birthdate of his newborn baby. The ink reads reads "Jude Rice", along with the astrology symbol for Leo, the star sign for the month of August, and his son’s date of birth, 7 August, 2022.

Rice and Fryer are a private couple, with neither star revealing they were expecting a baby prior to Rice's tattoo confirming things. Speaking in 2019, Rice offered a small insight into their relationship, joking that Fryer was jealous of his long-standing friendship with Manchester United player Mason Mount, who Rice met during their time playing together at Chelsea's academy.

"My missus is quite worried. I’m genuinely being serious. She’s quite worried," Rice joked to The Sun. "Oh she’s just always: 'You two . . . you love him more than you love me'," he added. "Honestly. We just get it in the neck all the time. But they need to understand the friendship."
