Report: Inter Miami now granted permission by FIFA to finally sign 'exciting' player

Inter Miami have reportedly been granted permission by FIFA to finally complete the signing of an ‘exciting player’

The Herons have been restless in the transfer market despite most MLS teams saving the bulk of their business for the summer window, with Inter Miami remaining active with Argentine defender Marcelo Weigandt being signed in the last month on loan.

With Inter Miami also reportedly close to signing Boca Juniors youngster Giovanni Ferraina on loan with an option to buy, it appears that the Florida franchise really aren’t showing any sign of slowing down just in regards to bringing in new players.

And one more new name could now be close to joining Inter Miami after weeks of speculation.

Inter Miami get the green light from FIFA to sign Matias Rojas

According to Lei em Campo, Matias Rojas has now been authorized by FIFA to make his long awaited move to Inter Miami, with the Paraguayan attacking midfielder waiting to be officially released from Corinthians to join the Herons.

Lauded as an ‘exciting’ player, Rojas’ move to Florida has been going on for some time, with the 28-year-old already appearing on Inter Miami’s official website as the Herons look to finally get the deal over the line and announced.

Yet this latest update strongly suggests that the move will be made official soon, with FIFA seemingly clearing Rojas to join Inter Miami after a lengthy battle away from the pitch with former club Corinthians.

Indeed, Rojas will be a welcome addition for Tata Martino’s side having recently losing Diego Gomez to injury, and the Paraguayan international will be eager to get to work with Inter Miami after waiting so long to become an official player.
