Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with Danish Minister for Business Morten Bødskov, according to the Telegram channel of the President.

"I met with the Danish Minister for Business Morten Bødsko. I thank the government and people of Denmark for supporting Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion," Zelenskyy said.

He said that during the meeting they discussed the defense of Ukraine from Russian terror.

"We are relying on Denmark's assistance in finding additional air defense systems for the Mykolaiv region," the President said.

According to Zelenskyy, special attention was paid to the prospects for expanding Danish business and attracting new investments to Ukraine.

Air defense for Ukraine

Since the beginning of spring, Russian forces have significantly increased their attacks on energy facilities and civilian cities in Ukraine. Missile strikes from Russia have led to the depletion of Ukrainian air defense systems, which in turn has allowed Russian forces to inflict substantial damage, including the destruction of thermal power stations and combined heat and power plants.

Today, the German government has urged the United States to send at least one Patriot anti-missile system to Ukraine to help close the gap in its air defense system.
