The pedestrian struck and killed by an SUV in Edgewater on Saturday has been identified by police as an 87-year-old Edgewater resident.
Hyo S. O was hit by an SUV on the first block of Dempsey Avenue at 12:05 p.m., police said Tuesday.
The 58-year-old who was driving the SUV remained on the scene and was later issued a issued a summons for careless driving.
