The odds for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series title have been updated following the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway over the weekend.

The victor was the No. 45 Toyota of Tyler Reddick, which filled team-owner Michael Jordan with glee, as he finally was able to celebrate an in-person victory with his team. It was a special moment for Jordan and NASCAR as a whole, as the NBA legend transcended the sport’s bubble, and was simply happy for his wheelman.

Ahead of next weekend’s race at Dover, there’s a litany of drivers looking to clinch their spot in the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs. As the campaign moves forward this weekend, here are the full updated NASCAR Cup Series title odds, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

William Byron (+500)

William Byron Phoenix

William Byron has proven to be one of NASCAR’s top superspeedway racers, and that much was true again over the weekend. The No. 24 came home P7 at Talladega, helping his chase for his first Cup Series title.

Dover is an interesting track for Byron, and one that he’s hoping to excel at. During last season’s spring race in Delaware, Byron finished P4, so he’ll be looking for at the least a similar showing this weekend.

Kyle Larson (+500)

Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson continues to rock the superspeedway monkey on his back. Talladega wasn’t kind to him on Sunday, as the No. 5 finished P21, while dealing with troubles throughout the afternoon, including going a lap down.

Dover has been more Larson’s speed over his career, which isn’t a surprise. However, he came home P32 during last season’s spring race at the track, so he’ll be looking to do much better when the Cup Series returns to Delaware once again.

Denny Hamlin (+500)

Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin has been in the news for a variety of reasons relating to NASCAR, but one of them included being a favorite for Talladega over the weekend. However, it wasn’t meant to be, as Hamlin was collected in a Toyota-filled wreck that ended his afternoon.

It wasn’t all bad though, as Hamlin’s 23XI Racing team ended up in victory lane via Tyler Reddick. Moving forward, he captured a top-five during the Dover spring race in 2023, so Hamlin will be looking to bounce back this weekend.

Christopher Bell (+650)

Christopher Bell Las Vegas

Much like many of the other Toyotas at Talladega, Christoper Bell’s day ended prematurely due to a shocking wreck. It actually sent him to the very back of the field, as Bell finished dead-last in Alabama over the weekend.

After starting the season on a tear, Bell has dealt with his fair share of troubles. However, Dover was kind to him last spring, as he finished P6. Perhaps the calendar is turning right at an opportune time for the No. 20 team.

Martin Truex Jr. (+900)

Martin Truex Jr. Kansas

Martin Truex Jr. doesn’t always have luck when racing on superspeedways, but he had some on Sunday, right up until he start-finish-line. He was pushing Tyler Reddick to the win, but got caught up in a wreck right at the end.

Thankfully, it wasn’t all bad for Truex, as he came home P11. Dover is his home track, and it’s been kind to him over his career, including a win last season. We’ll see if the No. 19 gets one in Delaware to make it back-to-back.

Chase Elliott (+900)

Chase Elliott

Chase Elliott broke his winless streak at Texas, and many in Talladega were hoping for back-to-back wins for the No. 9 team. Even though he couldn’t get to victory lane, Elliott still had a solid afternoon, finishing P15 in Alabama.

Dover is a track that Elliott has excelled at during his career, and he finished P11 during last season’s spring race in Delaware. Perhaps his second win in three weeks is on the docket when the Cup Series arrives on the scene.

Ryan Blaney (+1200)

Ryan Blaney

Ryan Blaney was one of the favorites entering the fray at Talladega, after his incredible performances in Alabama during the 2023 campaign, and throughout his career. However, he didn’t have any luck on Sunday afternoon, and came home P20.

Dover last season was a mixed bag, but Blaney actually captured a podium finish during the spring race with P3. We’ll see if the reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion can get back to victory lane in Delaware on Sunday afternoon.

Ross Chastain (+1400)

Ross Chastain Las Vegas

Ross Chastain has been solid in 2023, but that first win still eludes him. He almost found victory lane during last season’s race at Dover, where the No. 1 finished P2 to Martin Truex Jr. on the afternoon, so he has some merit returning to the track.

The No. 1 had an alright afternoon at Talladega, finishing P13 in Alabama. He’ll take that, especially considering the other side of the coin. We’ll see if one of NASCAR’s more popular drivers can turn it up a notch moving forward.

Tyler Reddick (+1400)

Tyler Reddick Talladega Victory Lane

Tyler Reddick finally got his first win of the 2024 campaign, and it came in surprising fashion. After the Toyotas were involved in a wreck, many believed Reddick was a sitting duck, but he steadied his team and kept moving forward.

That was enough to capture the checkered flag, and win his first race of the season in Talladega. Officially locked into the playoffs, Reddick will be racing loose in Dover, where he came home P7 during the spring race last season.
