Due to a shortage of teachers in the occupied territories, representatives of the Russian authorities are appointing laboratory assistants and janitors as directors of educational institutions, according to the National Resistance Center (NRC).

Despite promises of high salaries and social protection, there is a critical shortage of staff for educational institutions in the temporarily occupied parts of the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions, particularly for teachers of senior classes and school administrators.

Therefore, representatives of the Russian authorities do not hesitate to appoint former laboratory assistants or even janitors as school directors or deputy directors in charge of academics. This is because most teachers in the occupied territories refuse to cooperate with the occupation authorities, and many conscientious teachers continue to teach remotely in Ukrainian schools.

"Teachers from Russia are not rushing to come to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Even for promised financial payments and guaranteed housing. If they are found, they are mostly students of second-rate Russian pedagogical universities," the statement said.

Situation in the occupied territories

Russians have prepared a new trap for agrarians in the temporarily occupied territories.

Additionally, the National Resistance Center has warned about the information that should not be shared in chats or groups.

Moreover, Russians have created a body to control propaganda in schools in the occupied territories.
