Texas A&M power forward Tyler Ringgold enters NCAA Transfer Portal

There is a shake-up coming to the Texas A&M Men’s basketball program as another has made a decision about their future. On3 has learned that power forward Tyler Ringgold is opting to find a home for next season, having entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Ringgold played his high school ball at Southern University Lab School in Baton Rouge, LA. Southern University Lab School is a program dedicated to helping high school athletes prepare for the next level and, quite possibly, for the professional level of their sport.

Coming out of high school, Ringgold was a three-star prospect with an 85.7 rating. He ranked 236 nationally, 47 among power forwards, and was the second-best player in men’s basketball to come out of the state of Louisiana in the 2023 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
