In Odesa this morning, April 24, explosions were heard during an air raid alert declared due to the threat of missile strikes from the Russian army, according to the local Telegram channel Dumska.

Several explosions were heard in the area of the city. The first was around 05:58, followed by a second a few minutes later.

Reports also emerged of power outages in Odesa after the explosions. Part of the city is reportedly without electricity, according to Dumska.

Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, called on residents of Odesa and the region to take shelter until the air raid alert is lifted.

Before this, the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of increased enemy tactical aviation activity in the east and south.

"There is a threat of the use of aviation weapons in the frontline areas... Missile danger in the regions where the air raid alert is announced!" - stated the military announcement.

Earlier, it was reported that this night after midnight in Kharkiv, explosions were heard during an air raid alert declared due to the threat of enemy missile strikes.

It was later revealed that the enemy had reportedly hit a residential complex in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv with two S-300 missiles, resulting in two injuries.

There were also reports of a series of explosions outside the city. It was later revealed that the enemy had struck the village of Zolochiv in the Bohodukhiv district of the Kharkiv region with two S-300 missiles - there was damage to administrative buildings as a result of the Russian attack.
