Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 24: 880 troops and 43 artillery systems

Ukrainian defenders eliminated another 880 Russian troops over the day, and thus the total losses of the Russian army in personnel since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of Ukraine have already amounted to about 461,940 soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 24.04.24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 461940 (+880) Russian troops were killed;
  • tanks - 7242 (+1) units;
  • armored combat vehicles - 13928 (+12) units;
  • artillery systems - 11808 (+43) units;
  • MLRS - 1048 (+2) units;
  • air defense systems - 771 (+2) units;
  • airplanes - 348 units;
  • helicopters - 325 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 9439 (+32) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2117 units;
  • ships/boats - 26 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 15892 (+47) units;
  • special equipment - 1944 (+8).

Situation at front

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that 101 combat engagements occurred in Ukraine at the front over the past day.

The Ukrainian military command notes that in total, the occupiers launched 5 missile and 77 air strikes, fired about 76 MLRS attacks at the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and populated areas.
