How Feyenoord responded to Liverpool’s first bid for Arne Slot

The Reds will now be very keen to get their man. After months of searching, Liverpool will want to get things settled before the start of the summer window.

So it’s no surprise to see FSG making rapid advances as they try to lure Slot to Anfield. According to the latest reports by Dutch outlet 1908, Liverpool have already submitted a bid for Slot’s services on Wednesday morning.

It is not known how much Liverpool bid. However, it is known according to the report that Liverpool’s first offer was rejected.

What next now for Liverpool and Arne Slot?

Clearly, Feyenoord know and realise Slot’s is now Liverpool’s favoured candidate. They won’t be willing to accept the first offer.

The report above claims they are holding out for at least 15 million euros which is around just under £13m.

He is very highly rated in the Netherlands, and has been described as an ‘intelligent’ manager by Dutch legend Marco van Basten.

Liverpool will definitely be back with another bid. When Michael Edwards and FSG are determined to get someone, they usually succeed.
