Arsenal fans can't stop laughing after what Chelsea did on Twitter during 5-0 thrashing

Arsenal fans have a number of reasons to laugh at Chelsea right now.

The Gunners welcomed the Blues to the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, and Mikel Arteta taught them a footballing lesson.

Arsenal smashed five past Chelsea and could’ve, and probably should’ve, scored five more.

It was a truly dominant performance by Arteta’s men, and we are currently 30 points ahead of Mauricio Pochettino’s billion-pound blues.

As Arsenal fans, we absolutely love that, but what made us laugh was something Chelsea‘s official X (Twitter) handle did during the game.

What Chelsea did on Twitter as Arsenal beat them 5-0

Performances don’t usually matter at this stage of the season – it’s all about the results.

However, Arsenal put on a sensational display at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night, and Chelsea had no answer to our questions.

Leandro Trossard opened the scoring in the fourth minute of the game to get us off to a flying start. In the second half, a brace each by Kai Havertz and Ben White put us 5-0 up.

It was really a phenomenal performance, and Arsenal are currently four points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table – the champions, however, have two games in hand.

One thing that we found hilarious during the game on Tuesday was Chelsea’s activity on X (formerly Twitter).

The Blues, like any other club, provided updates about the game to their followers.

In the second half, Chelsea did not hesitate to name Ben White while tweeting about who scored for Arsenal.

However, when Kai Havertz found the net – not once but twice – Chelsea decided against using the German’s name.

Arsenal fans react after seeing what Chelsea did on X

Every Arsenal fan wanted Kai Havertz to score against the Blues last night, and the fact that he celebrated after finding the net was brilliant too.

Chelsea should’ve anticipated this beforehand and not named anyone, but the fact that they used Ben White’s name but not Havertz’s just seems a bit petty.

Arsenal fans, however, found that absolutely hilarious, and Gooners just can’t stop laughing at what Chelsea have done on X.

Here’s how a few of them reacted…
