Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa, located at the entrance to Yanbaru, a region of rich subtropical forests and blue seas in the northern part of Okinawa's main island, was rebranded and reopened on October 1, 2021, with the concept of "Play with the island, connect with the forest." The hotel is focused on Yanbaru, the "miracle forest," a new attraction of Okinawa that is not just about the sea. In 2022, a new club lounge featuring native Yanbaru plants will be opened in the open lobby area, and the prefecture's largest garden pool, which offers a spectacular view from the hilltop, will also be renovated. The renovation work on all 288 rooms, including club rooms and superior rooms, which began in September last year, has now been completed, completing the comprehensive renovation plan that began in 2021.

Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa is the first resort hotel of Oriental Hotels & Resorts, and is located in the northern part of Okinawa's main island, at the entrance to Yanbaru, an area of lush subtropical forests and blue seas. It is close to the Kyoda Interchange on the Okinawa Expressway, and is 60 minutes from the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium and 20 minutes from Manzamo in Onna Village, making it an ideal hotel for active tourism in Okinawa, with easy access to not only the northern part but also the central and southern parts.
All rooms have ocean views and feature 361 spacious rooms over 44 m2, with 288 rooms to be transformed in spring 2024 into spaces more suitable as a base for travellers to experience Yanbaru.
