Arsenal fans will love what Jorginho was seen doing on the pitch after 5-0 Chelsea win

Jorginho was spotted joining in with the Arsenal celebrations after the Gunners’ 5-0 win in a manner that’s sure to annoy Chelsea fans.

Arsenal ran rampant against Chelsea on Tuesday evening, handing out a 5-0 thrashing to their capital city rivals at the Emirates Stadium.

Kai Havertz and Jorginho come back to haunt Chelsea in Arsenal win

Kai Havertz will be in the spotlight after he came back to haunt his former club with a well-taken brace. The German attacker was ruthless in the second half, and did not hold back from celebrating his strikes against the Blues.

Havertz was criticised in the first half for his reluctance to take advantage of shooting opportunities. He had no such reservations after the break, though, as his two clinical finishes added to the visitors’ misery.

The 24-year-old has taken his game to a new level since making the £65 million switch from Stamford Bridge in the recent summer transfer window. Havertz has already enjoyed a better season in front of goal for Arsenal than he ever managed for Chelsea.

Havertz was not the only former Chelsea star who took part in this win for the North London club either. Mikel Arteta introduced Jorginho to the fray in the second half, as he took Thomas Partey’s place at the base of the midfield.

The veteran has also played a key role for the Gunners this season. There is now a clamour for Arsenal to extend Jorginho’s stay at the Emirates Stadium.

How Jorginho joined in with fans celebrations after Arsenal triumph

Both Jorginho and Havertz clearly enjoyed getting one over on their former employers.

Jorginho was spotted joining in with the celebrations after the final whistle. In fan footage posted on X by @RN24_AFC, the 32-year-old was seen singing along with the supporters in a rendition of the popular Havertz chant.

Many Chelsea fans are likely to be put out, both by the fact that Havertz celebrated his goals, and Jorginho’s singing after the game.

The mood is clearly buoyant amongst the Arsenal squad at this time, and for good reason. The North London club are currently sat at the top of the Premier League table. Whilst they are not in control of the title race, given Manchester City’s games in hand, they are well placed to take it to the wire.
