Trump says Charlottesville's white nationalist rally was 'like a peanut' to other protests

Donald Trump during CNN debate

Donald Trump on Wednesday brought up what some would call the low-point of his presidency, saying that the violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville "is like a peanut" compared to what Joe Biden faces today.

Trump, who famously suggested people should blame both sides in connection with the Charlottesville event that caused injuries and death, took to Truth Social to provide a hot take on Israel and Palestine.

"Crooked Joe Biden would say, constantly, that he ran because of Charlottesville. Well, if that’s the case, he’s done a really terrible job because Charlottesville is like a 'peanut' compared to the riots and anti-Israel protests that are happening all over our Country, RIGHT NOW….And it’s Crooked’s fault because he sends the wrong message every single time," Trump said on his own social media network that recently went public.

He then added, "The fact is that Crooked Joe Biden HATES Israel and Hates the Jewish people. The problem is that he HATES the Palestinians even more, and he just doesn’t know what to do!?!?"

After the Charlottesville rally, Trump came under fire "for failing explicitly to condemn white supremacy groups or use the term domestic terrorism after a woman was killed when a car smashed into anti-racism protesters at the weekend," the Guardian reported.
