Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 25: 1,040 troops and 13 tanks

Ukrainian defenders have eliminated another 1,040 Russian invaders within the past 24 hours, with the total casualties of the enemy forces since the onset of widescale war reaching approximately 462,980 military personnel, according to the morning briefing of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on April 25.

The overall Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022 to April 25, 2024 are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: Approximately 462,980 (+1040) individuals;
  • Tanks: 7255 (+13) units;
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 13,942 (+14) units;
  • Artillery systems: 11,836 (+28) units;
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 1049 (+1) unit;
  • Anti aircraft warfare systems: 772 (+1) units;
  • Aircraft: 348 units;
  • Helicopters: 325 units;
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 9449 (+10) units;
  • Cruise missiles: 2118 (+1) units;
  • Warships/boats: 26 units;
  • Submarines: 1 unit;
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 15,949 (+57) units;
  • Special equipment: 1946 (+2) units.

Frontline stuation

In today's morning briefing, the General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces repelled 27 enemy attacks in the Avdiivka direction, held their positions, and repelled assaults by occupation forces in the Kherson direction. Aviation destroyed 3 enemy reconnaissance drones.
