‘I’m going’: Jamie Carragher has now predicted who will win – Tottenham or Arsenal

Tottenham face Arsenal this weekend in what could be one of the biggest north London derbies in recent memory.

Spurs and Arsenal both still have plenty to play for this season as Tottenham chase a place in the top four and Arsenal chase the Premier League title.

Arsenal have been in better form than Tottenham as of late, but, at the same time, in these derby games form can go out of the window and Tottenham are well-rested.

However, at the same time, Spurs do have injury issues heading into this game, so anything could happen.

Speaking on Stick to Football, Jamie Carragher has been discussing this game, and he’s made a prediction on how this game will go.

The pundit spoke about how this weekend’s game could go.

“Tottenham haven’t played for a long time. Have Tottenham not played for two weeks or 10 days or something? I’m going 2-1 Arsenal,” Carragher said.

Tottenham have every chance

Carragher is tipping Arsenal to turn Tottenham over here, but we can see the game panning out the opposite.

Arsenal do have a tendency to slip up towards the end of a season, and a game against Spurs is perhaps the biggest banana skin they could face.

Yes, Liverpool and Man City are the best teams in the league, but there isn’t a game Arsenal could play that would be as emotionally charged as this one.

These derby matches are always huge affairs, and with so much at stake, it will be interesting to see whether or not Arsenal can actually cope with the pressure of playing against Tottenham this weekend.

Jamie Carragher clearly fancies Arsenal to win here, but if they do drop points, it would be easy to say that their title hopes are fading at a quick rate.
