‘A mad game’: Roy Keane has now made a prediction about Tottenham vs Arsenal this weekend

Arsenal face off against Tottenham this weekend in a game that could make or break their title push.

A north London derby is probably the last fixture Arsenal would want to play at the moment as we head into the business-end of the season.

Tottenham will be desperate to spoil Arsenal’s party this weekend and derail their title charge, while Arsenal will have to be at their very best to get a result.

It’s so hard to call how this one will go, but, as ever, Roy Keane has stuck his neck on the line and tried to call the result of this match on Stick to Football.

Roy Keane predicts the north London derby

Keane says that he thinks Tottenham will get a result here, claiming that this one will either be 1-1 or 2-1 to Tottenham.

“I think Spurs will get a result. I think 1-1- or 2-1 Spurs, I don’t think Arsenal will win. It could be a mad game and Spurs could turn up,” Keane said.

Arsenal need to win

A 1-1 draw away at Tottenham, under usual circumstances, wouldn’t be the worst result in the world for Arsenal, but a draw here could be disastrous.

Let’s be honest, we’re all assuming that Manchester City will win most of their games between now and the end of the season, and Arsenal need to just keep that pressure up in the hope that they can force City to drop points.

Unfortunately, keeping that pressure on is much easier said than done, and a draw or a loss here could see City stroll to the league title at a canter – just as they did last season.

Every game from here on in is a must-win for Arsenal, and this is perhaps the toughest challenge they face between now and the end of the season.
