'They killed King Kong': Jesse Watters schooled by Fox colleagues after Trump comparison

Fox News host Jesse Watters was schooled by his own colleagues Thursday as he compared Donald Trump to King Kong.

“They trapped him in a cage,” Watters said on the Fox Show The Five.

“They caught him, they trapped him in the cage, we call the courtroom a cage, and he’s like King Kong.

“They are sending [MSNBC host Rachel] Maddow down there and she is looking at him like an animal. ‘Man, his hair is really orange. Look at his eyes and his lips. He is angry, he is mad, he is upset.’ Watching him — they are not providing any sort of legal analysis,

‘ They’re acting like it's like a zoo creature.

“And what happens with King Kong? You remember. Boom! It’s not going to be good. So he’s going to bust out of this cage eventually, they’re not going to be able to keep him down.”

But that’s when his colleagues stepped in.

“They killed King Kong though,” interrupted co-host Harold Ford, Jr.

“He took a white woman on top of a building. It was frowned upon in the ‘40s. Yeah, it was a bad day for him.”

“I don’t think I saw the end of that movie,” said Watters.”I heard King Kong II was a little bit different.”

The King Kong comparison came afterWatters ranted about how badly Trump was being treated during his hush money trial on 34 felony counts of falsifying business accounts. He’s accused of trying to cover up payments made to an adult movie actress he’d had a sexual relationship with.
