Does Content Warning have VR?

As a game focused on sharing your spooky encounters, Content Warning seems like the perfect game for the VR treatment. But does Content Warning have VR?

Content Warning is a horror game with a twist — you and a group of friends must approach creepy creatures to get heart-pounding or entertaining content for your SpookTube channel. The goal is to have your content go viral. It seems like a game focused on screaming and running from monsters would be perfect for VR, which would put you right in front of the horror.

Is it possible?

Can you play Content Warning with VR?

Right now, Content Warning does not have VR.

This seems like a missed opportunity since Content Warning would be extra scary in first person. But as a small indie game, it’s not surprising that Content Warning doesn’t have the capability.

Will Content Warning have the option in the future? Right now, developers haven’t discussed Content Warning getting VR down the line — but that doesn’t mean it’s completely out of the picture.

On Steam, a Content Warning dev said: “Hi! VR is not in our plans right now, but who knows in the future!”

Another option is to wait for a mod to make a VR component. Some mods are coming close but fans have not enjoyed them just yet. The camera is tied to your ragdoll, causing the camera to be knocked everywhere as you move. Motion sickness is a big concern for Content Warning players looking to implement VR.
