Despite originating in the same place and functioning similarly to the rest of Western civilization, the divide between the UK and the US has never been more apparent. Just recently we saw a British man lose his mind over the “American way” of making a cup of tea.

In a recent video on TikTok, couple Sam and Monica (@samandmonica) were joined by Andrea and Lewis (@andreaandlewis) who you might remember from an adorable viral proposal last month.
In the clip, Andrea and Monica forced their boyfriends to try Fruit Riot’s Sour Grapes, which are freshly frozen with a spritz of lemon juice and sour candy coating.
After “shoving the whole thing in”, Sam was the first to buckle under the flavor of the food while giving his best “it’s sour” face. He was soon joined by Irish Lewis, who, much to his girlfriend’s dissatisfaction, attempted to remove it immediately.
“In what two worlds does sour and grape go together,” Sam questioned, to which his girlfriend replied, “In every world?”
As the lads thrashed about with varying degrees of pain displayed on their faces, Monica compared the scene to trying to feed a baby.
Ultimately, neither of the boys enjoyed their American candy experience as Sam dubbed them “horrible” and Lewis continued to wince and moan.
Followers said the skit was comedy gold
With over 11 million followers between them, Andrea and Lewis and Sam and Monica already have legions of loyal followers. Some even said it was the “collaboration of the century.”
One person screamed: “HELP SAM’S SMILE AT THE START FELT LIKE HE WAS FORCED TO DO THIS.”
“The collab we didn’t expect but still loved it,” another person wrote, as a third said, “Sam is a trooper for keeping it in his mouth.”
