Russian troops shell Sumy region with artillery: Killed and injured reported

On April 26, Russian troops shelled Bilopillia in Sumy region. There was a series of explosions, and one person was killed and several wounded, according to Sumy Regional Military Administration.

“Today, on April 26, Russia fired the town of Bilopillia with artillery, Sumy region. Five explosions were recorded,” the statement reads.

Preliminary, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, one woman was killed and four people were wounded in the shelling.

The Russian shelling also damaged the premises of a medical facility, multi-story and private houses, a shopping center, a bank building, garages, cars, and a tractor.

On April 26, Russian troops shelled Derhachi in the Kharkiv region, Sumy, and Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Russian air strike on Sumy hit an industrial facility. In Derhachi and Nikopol, children were among the victims. In particular, three of the four victims in Derhachi are minors. A 9-year-old boy was wounded in Nikopol.

The Russian army also shelled Bilopillia, Sumy region, on April 17. A man was wounded.
